A practical training for BCBAs and Behavior Therapists working in home-based ABA settings.
This workshop walks through what it actually takes to build and run a high-quality ABA home program, from the very first client interaction through ongoing supervision and parent training. Topics include conducting effective record reviews and parent interviews, selecting the right assessment tools for each learner, designing treatment plans that meet medical necessity standards, and building behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs grounded in current best practice.
The training also covers Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment (PFA+SBT), data-driven decision making, supervision standards, and parent training approaches, including GBS’s own Purposeful Parenting curriculum and the Balance Program. Throughout, content is tied back to the BACB Ethics Code to reinforce the connection between strong clinical practice and ethical obligation.
