Sibling Support Groups
Siblings of children with autism or developmental disabilities often take on a role that is both meaningful and emotionally complex. They may feel overlooked, carry unspoken worries, or step into caregiving roles at a young age. Our Sibling Support Groups are designed to give siblings a space that is just for them. Through connection, conversation, and guidance, siblings are supported as they navigate their experiences and build confidence in a safe, understanding environment.

What Happens in a Sibling Support Group?
Sibling Support Groups provide a structured, supportive space where siblings can connect with others who truly understand their experiences. Groups are guided by experienced clinicians and focus on open conversation, emotional expression, and practical coping strategies.
During sessions, siblings may:
Share experiences and feelings in a supportive peer setting
Learn age-appropriate ways to express emotions and set boundaries
Build coping skills for stress, frustration, or guilt
Develop confidence and a stronger sense of identity outside of caregiving roles
Feel validated, heard, and less alone
Groups are designed to be welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free, allowing siblings to participate at their own comfort level.
