Effective collaboration is a cornerstone of success for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) working in educational environments. Yet research shows that many BCBAs lack formal training in this area, leading to challenges in building strong professional relationships and working seamlessly within school teams.

This workshop is designed to address common barriers and equip BCBAs with practical skills for fostering productive, respectful, and lasting collaborations. Participants will learn how to:

• Recognize the importance of rapport-building as the foundation for teamwork.

• Understand and adapt to school culture to enhance effectiveness.

• Strengthen communication and active listening skills across multidisciplinary teams.

• Develop compromise and empathy as tools for problem-solving with caregivers and colleagues.

• Learn strategies for prioritizing, staying flexible, and balancing competing demands in school settings.

By the end of this course, participants will have the tools to navigate collaboration challenges with confidence, building stronger partnerships that lead to better outcomes for students, families, and teams.
